So, I found this old slightly broken locket in a bunch of junk jewelry somebody gave me at some point (sorry i'm so unspecific, I really don't remember where it came from; it could've been from any of a number of relatives) and knew I had to do something with it. This is the result so far--it seemed so indicative of myself, iconic even, that I couldn't call it anything other than a self portrait. Still a WIP, as the front of the locket which once bore a cameo (or something along those lines) is still bare and needs something. Don't know what yet.
Notes: The critter (on the left) is drawn on ordinary white printer paper. It looks all sepia-y because of the old glass of the locket that it's behind. Neat, huh? The gears look the same as the ones in the broach I made a few days ago because they're the other halves of the same gears. Waste not want not.
that's just amazing! all your stuff just takes me back, i have no idea how you come up with it, or do it, or anything XD it's a whole level of creativity i don't get

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
