I made these months ago but didn't take good pics.
Made when I was supposed to be studying for my latin exam (got an A anyway) out of copper and brass foil, foil tape, leather, and brads.

Yeah they fit well and are quite comfortable. I wear 'em when I dress steampunk, though usually 'round my neck or on my head so as to not conflict with my glasses.

nah, I like mine. My eyes aren't that bad, I could get away with wearing 'em only rarely, but I think they look good on me lol

Well, I don't mind mine.The only time they are dangerous is when I do physical things. I took an impromptu hip hop class and we had to do a spin. So I tried to spot when I spun around but when I whipped my head back around, my glasses flew off and hit the guy behind me!

that's the nice thing with not needing 'em that much, I can take 'em off for fencing which is the only thing I do they'd be an issue with

Excellent! I have been wanting to make some Steampunk goggles for a while now, but haven't found the time or the materials I want to use. Someday...

I like the thin metal foil I used for these, it's super-easy to use and looks great. If you can work with wire (and I know you can) you can use it.
Otherwise, dunno what to tell ya.
